Late in 2020, Turkish Cargo carried the first batch of Chinese-made Sinovac Covid-19 vaccines to Turkey. The 17 containers equipped with dedicated cooling systems, were delivered to the Ministry of Health after a dedicated flight from Beijing to Ankara.
The carrier has enhanced its cold chain shipment capacoty to 25,000 tonnes per month with an additional 150 aircraft pallet spaces and is an IATA CEIV pharma certificate holder.
