Samskip's Van Dieren Multimodal subsidiary is adding a rail shuttle link between its main European hub at Duisburg and Copenhagen from 4 November. It will provide a daily service between Germany and the Danish capital, and also link together Samskip's mulitmodal and shortsea services, including Tilbury, Hull, Grangemouth, Belfast, Dublin, Waterford and Cork.
Samskip also offers a comprehensive intermodal service in Scandinavia.

Samskip Van Dieren Multimodal is running a shuttle train between Duisburg in Germany and Älmhult in southern Sweden with a transit time of 15 hours. The service can carry Huckepack mega trailers and 45ft containers. Connections to and from the UK via Duisburg are available.
