Takeover brings Duvenbeck to Bavaria

[ July 3, 2024   //   ]

German logistics company Duvenbeck has acquired the operations of Bavarian freight forwarding company, Erich Haslbeck.

Family firm Haslbeck, headquartered in Niederviehbach near Dingolfing, about 60km north-east of Munich specialises in factory traffic for the Bavarian automobile industry as well as freight forwarding and logistics services for fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and the construction industry.

The takeover will boost Duvenbeck’s fleet by 75 tractor units and 140 trailers and the new location offers 1,000sq m of covered space and 2,000sq m of outdoor space.

About 90 employees will now come under the Duvenbeck umbrella while the two previous managing partners, Bernhard and Christian Haslbeck, will remain on board and help with the integration process.

In February, Duvenbeck Group acquired Dutch transport and logistics company, Schotpoort Logistics.
