Tapirs to Turkey
[ June 2, 2015 // Chris ]The Belgian arm of forwarder a. hartrodt’s 20 years’ expereince in moving live animals came to the fore recently when it moved three Brazilian Tapirs and four Patagonian Maras by air from Brussels to Istanbul last April. The animals, destined for Bursa zoo in Turkey were shipped in custom-made transport boxes and one of a. hardrodt’s live animal specialists accompanied the consignment to ensure safe arrival. This special escort would have been able to react immediately if any unexpected difficulties should have arisen during the trip, although in this case everything went smoothly and the animals are now enjoying their new home.
