Teesport takes Containerships title

PD Ports’ Teesport has been awarded Terminal Operator of the Year by Finnish shipping and logistics group, Containerships. The line’s vessel operations manager in the North East, Michael Povey, said the high service levels at Teesport played a significant part in the award. A 10% rise in throughput was supported by improved service levels from Teesport, including installation of a third ship to shore crane.
