Thousandth placement for South Coast recruiter

South Coast-based shipping, logistics & supply chain industry specialist SDW Recruitment has celebrated its 1000th permanent placement by moving into a new office in Freemantle Business Centre in Southampton.

SDW Recruitment, now in its tenth year of trading, works with a number of leading freight forwarding & logistics companies in the region, filling keys role such as import and export forwarders, shipping managers, customer services executives and Customs co-ordinators. Its clients include; Damco, Allport, DHL Global Forwarding, DB Schenker, Shell UK, Tesco, MOL and Toll Global Forwarding.

It also has an office in Felixstowe.

Steve Wyeth the Director of SDW Recruitment said: “We are currently expanding our exposure within the local manufacturing industry, recruiting for their shipping and logistics departments, along with international removal companies where our expertise is easily transferable. Another target area for us is International courier companies, as it is important for companies to recruit individuals with the relevant logistics experience, who can hit the ground running.”
