Tibbett takes space in Romania
[ January 26, 2016 // Chris ]Tibbett Logistics – a member of the UK-based Keswick Enterprises Group – has leased 10,000sq m of warehousing at Deva in mid-West of Romania. The new space will be dedicated to automotive component suppliers.
With more than 300 FTE employees dedicated to the sector, Tibbett’s automotive services now include both international and intra-European inbound transport of components via its own intermodal operations and a range of other transport and logistics services.
Tibbett Logistics’ chief executive, David Goldsborough, said: “In partnership with our key customers, we have developed to become one of the largest suppliers of services to automotive OEMs and Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers in Romania. Our automotive sector operations have grown to the point where they account for some 24% of total revenues.”
