Tilbury adds 75 new jobs

Tilbury’s London Container Terminal says it is creating 75 new permanent jobs this year. They include straddle carrier drivers who currently work as contractors at the port but who will now have permanent employment at LCT. A major training programme is also underway to enhance the skills of straddle carrier and crane drivers for the new positions and the terminal’s existing staff through the port’s training academy.
