Tilbury’s grain silo takes shape

Forth Ports has completed a concrete slip form for a new the Port of Tilbury’s new grain terminal to replace the facility damaged by fire in July 2020.

Once the mechanical and electrical fitting is complete, the new 34,000 tonne capacity silo is expected to be fully operational in January 2024, bringing a combined total storage on site to 134,000 tonnes.
