TIR Committee slams Russian customs again
[ February 7, 2014 // Chris ]The TIR Administrative committee, meeting at the United Nations in Geneva on 6 February, reiterated that the Russian customs service, in seeking to restrict or annual the TIR system, broke the TIR Convention and international law. The Committee once again asked Moscow to abandon its restrictive measures.
The International Road Transport Union also called for clarification of Russian Customs’ plans as soon as possible.
