Transmec adds Spain and Greece

Groupage operator Transmec UK is launching services to Spain and Greece. There will be a twice-weekly link from West Thurrock, Bradford and Redditch to depots in Madrid, Barcelona and the Basque country, in both directions.

Depot-to-depot transit time is three days and collection across the UK and onward delivery throughout the Iberian Peninsula, including all areas of Portugal, are available.

Transmec also recently launched a new UK to Athens link via Transmec Group’s European network, as well as services eastern and central Europe.

General manager of Transmec UK, John Simkins (pictured) described the new routes as “an important part of our strategy to continue expanding the number of destinations we serve throughout Europe.”
