Transmec promotes in Thurrock

Groupage operator Transmec UK has appointed Imran Mohammed as its new branch manager at its West Thurrock headquarters. Mohammed, who has worked for the logistics company for 18 years, was previously UK finance director.

UK general manager, John Simkins, said: “Imran is the ideal person to help us build on the record results we achieved last year. He has an in-depth knowledge of the business and knows the team at West Thurrock extremely well.

“He is also well placed to help clients manage the implications of Brexit, having been instrumental in our planning and the achievement of full Authorised Economic Operator status.”
