Traxon extends to three more countries

[ March 6, 2018   //   ]

IT solutions provider CHAMP Cargosystems has extended its Traxon Global Customs (TGC) advance electronic information platform to Russia, Jamaica and the Maldives.

In Russia, a semi-automated solution was upgraded to full automation to meet new requirements. The next Eurasian Union countries planned for rollout include Armenia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan.

Jamaica requires IATA CargoXML for compliance messaging. Carriers only need to send their standard IATA messages to TGC on departure and TGC adapts the message format and files the correct message to Customs.

The Maldives have similarly asked the airline community to electronically file cargo data in advance for all import and transit shipments.

CHAMP Cargosystems has also developed a new security compliance service, Traxon Global Security (TGS) to meet US Air Cargo Advance Screening (ACAS) requirements that are currently piloted. Launch customer is the Turkish cargo carrier MNG. TGS is specifically designed to support multiple pre-loading advance cargo information (PLACI) schemes from the same platform delivering a consistent and complete solution for security compliance.
