Tunnel ready for Brexit checks
[ April 5, 2019 // Chris ]Eurotunnel officially handed over buildings intended for customs, veterinary and phytosanitary inspection services to the French authorities on 4 April. The Douane-SIVEP control centre will be open 24 hours for Ministry of Agriculture officials and customs officers. It provides nine unloading docks, a refrigerated storage area, 100 parking spaces for trucks and 1,000sq m of offices. Eurotunnel has also created an equine facility and expanded two pit-stop areas for truck processing.
