Two tenants for Gateway 14

The Gateway 14 development at Stowmarket, part of Freeport East, has gained planning consent for two buildings to be occupied by manufacturers of eco-friendly construction materials. Turkish-owned Assan Panel which manufactures sandwich panel construction materials and exports to 85 countries across the world, will invest £45m in an 86,565sq ft manufacturing building, bringing 100 jobs to the area. They will be joined on Gateway 14 by Bauder which specialises in waterproofing systems and insulation which has its manufacturing operations in Ipswich and plans to occupy a 44,000sq ft distribution centre at the park.
