UK withdraws Ulster border clauses
[ December 8, 2020 // Chris ]The UK government says it will withdraw controversial clauses in the Internal Market Bill that could have seen border controls imposed between Northern Ireland and Ireland, after it reached agreement in principle with the EU on how rules would be implemented.
The deal is part of a wider discussion over a possible trade deal between the UK and the EU.
