UPS to set up African airline
[ October 20, 2015 // Chris ]UPS is to launch a new pan-African airline, based at Enfidha Enfidha in Tunisia, from 12 January. The US-based integrator has gone into partnership with local operator Express Logistic to set up Express Air Cargo (Enfidha), which will operate services between Enfidha airport – about midway between Tunis and Sousse – and 51 African destinations, including Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa.
The two companies are already partners in a joint freighter between Enfidha and UPS’s main European hub in Cologne – which will provide a link to the wider UPS network – and Malta.
