Valuable haul in Essex container yard

Stolen vehicle recovery expert, Tracker Network recently found three stolen range rovers worth over £200,000 crammed into a shipping container in Stanford-le-hope, near London Gateway port. One vehicle, worth over £100,000, had been reported stolen just 17 hours before.

Tracker’s head of police liaison Clive Wain, said that Covid, the shortage of car parts and new and used cars has exacerbated theft in recent months, saying: “It is not surprising to see that these cars were found at a shipping container depot, as there is a clear demand for these models in territories like Eastern Europe, Middle East and Asia.”
