Volga-Dnepr strikes Vatry deal

Volga-Dnepr Airlines has agreed to base one of its new IL-76TD-90VD freighter aircraft at Paris-Vatry Airport in north-east France to meet growing demand for air charter operations. Volga-Dnepr has invested over US$100 million in a fleet of five new generation IL-76TD-90VD cargo aircraft. Vatry’s director-general Youri Busaan described the move as “a major breakthrough that will help to safeguard and enhance the airport’s long-term position as a leading air cargo charter airport in Europe.
