Wallenius does more with less

Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics has taken delivery of its first new generation Post Panamax HERO (High Efficiency RoRo) PCTC vessels. Measuring 36.5 m wide and 200m long the M/V Thermopylae has five liftable car decks, allowing for more configurations for cargo of various sizes and hence increased capacity for cars, trucks, equipment and breakbulk. The vessel can also call at ports with shallower depths. She is the first of in total eight similar vessels that will go into service in 2015-17.
