Wallenius set to win the West

Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics is to increase its Europe to the US West Coast service from fortnightly to weekly in January. The two additional sailings per month will also boost transshipment opportunities to Latin America, the Caribbean and Asia via its port hub in Manzanillo, Panama. The service calls at Southampton in the UK. WWL will deploy its current latest generation vessels on this route, and, once the new Panama Canal locks are open next year, introduce the post-Panamax HERO class of vessels to the route.
