Warm welcome from Greenland for Olympic flame

CMA CGM’s LNG-powered Greenland will take part in the grand nautical parade to mark the arrival of the Olympic Flame in Marseille on 8 May.

Entering service in September 2022 under the French flag, and homeported in Marseille-Fos, she is one of five 15,000teu deployed between Asia and the Mediterranean.

As the Official Logistics Partner of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, CMA CGM and its subsidiary CEVA Logistics are handling the maritime transport of the equipment from the port of Piraeus in Greece.
