Win some, lose some for Franco-Dutch carrier
[ July 29, 2024 // Chris Lewis ]Air France KLM Martinair Cargo is to start a Boeing 747-400ERF freighter service on 19 September from Amsterdam Schiphol to Dubai and Hong Kong, bringing the carrier back to the latter destination after an absence of almost nine years. Flights will initially operate thrice weekly, increasing to four on 27 October. Capacity will be 110 tonnes per flight and there will be connections to the Americas and Africa via Amsterdam Schiphol.
At the same time, however, routes to Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Santiago, Quito and Guatemala will be suspended but the carrier will continue to operate freighter services to Bogotá three times a week via Miami.
