Woodland Media opens in Hong Kong
[ June 16, 2014 // Chris ]Essex forwarder Woodland Group’s Woodland Media publishing division has opened a new office in Hong Kong. The new Hong Kong operation, which officially opened earlier this month, has been established with the support of Woodland’s long-term agency partner IFB International Freightbridge.
Former Activair (Hong Kong) managing director of Activair (Hong Kong), Sabrina Auyeung, has been appointed director of Woodland Media (Hong Kong).
She said: “Despite the rise of electronic devices, the demand for English language books, magazines and printed matter in China is as strong as ever. Opening a dedicated Woodland Media office in Hong Kong is an exciting opportunity and I am delighted to be joining the team.”
Head of Woodland Media,Kevan Childs, added: “Hong Kong remains an important hub of in the publishing sector.”
Previously known as Bookbridge, Woodland has served the book trade for more than 20 years and now exports more magazines from the UK than any other logistics company.
