World first for Hartlepool

The world’s first purpose built wind turbine installation vessel, the MPI Adventure, recently visited PD Ports Hartlepool. It was also the first time the north-eastern port has handled a vessel of this size. The visit was in connection with the Teesside Offshore Windfarm Project, for which the Port of Hartlepool has been appointed as the main construction logistics hub.
