X-Panding in Basildon

Egham-based forwarder X-Pand International Freight has opened a new office and warehouse in Basildon, Essex to cope with increasing demand from its 3PL customers.X-pand also plans to tap into the continued growth of the nearby London Gateway Terminal and will use Basildon facility as its ocean freight distribution centre. Sales and marketing director, David Osborn, said: “We are particularly pleased with this major investment since it allows us to continue to grow our services and operations for our customers and overseas partners and confirms our commitment to this important region of the UK”.
