XPO supports triple-tower climbers
[ September 23, 2024 // Chris Lewis ]XPO Logistics is supporting a Climb the Capital event on 5 October in which participants will ascend three of London’s tallest skyscrapers on foot within three hours.
Participants in the event, which is accredited with the Towerrunning World Association, will climb 475 metres up and down the Scalpel, The Leadenhall Building and 20 Fenchurch Street, finishing at the spectacular Sky Gardens for a private reception.
It should be a doddle for regular commuters on the London Underground with its perpetually broken escalators or anyone who lives on the upper floors of a council tower block where the lift is always out of order.
Climbers are encouraged to raise £1 for every metre ascended, raising vital funds for Action Medical Research, Over The Wall Camp UK Children’s Charity, The Felix Project and The Brain Tumour Charity.
