Yodel reaffirms its Armed Forces and Modern Slavery vows

Parcels carrier Yodel has renewed its partnerships with national charities, Walking With The Wounded (WWTW) and Slave-Free Alliance.

The partnership with WWTW, which is in its third year, provides ongoing support for Armed Forces veterans returning to work in the civilian sector, while the partnership with Slave-Free Alliance, in its fourth year, enables Yodel to continue protecting its operations and supply chains against modern slavery and exploitation.

Yodel is also a significant employer of ex-service personnel, and has supported WWTW’s clients with job opportunities and training.

Its long-standing commitment with the Slave-Free Alliance for a further three years ensures that those already employed through agency or third parties are not victims of modern slavery.

The Alliance supports organisations t with a team of former law enforcement officers and experts in business management, procurement, supply chain and human rights.
