Young Forwarder award goes to South Africa

Justin Goedhart from South Africa is the new Young International Freight Forwarder of the Year. The other finalists were Georgina Perez Perez of Canada; Glauc Fornés Gil (Spain) and Muhammad Wasif Wiqar (Pakistan).

Award organisers and sponsors, FIATA I and TT Club said that all finalists had invested impressive efforts into the competition, using their skills to provide high quality work. By their dedication, innovative minds, and enthusiasm, they are a true source of inspiration for the industry. 

Justin Goedhart dissertation, presentation and video focused on the international shipment of rhinos, demonstrating “exemplary understanding, knowledge and passion for his said TT Club’s Michael Yarwood.

The event also launched next year’s award, which will from now on will be called the Young Logistics Professional Award in line with FIATA’s aim to encourage and nurture young talent in all sectors of the industry.
